About Djurdja Watson
Djurdja Watson is a London based jewellery designer, known for her inimitable bohemian signature style.
Djurdja specialises in handmade designer jewellery fashioned at her workshops. She effortlessly combines sensual elegance with frivolous glamour to create fashion jewellery that exudes luxury and sophistication.
From her lush, exuberant statement pieces to her exquisitely detailed silver charms, this bespoke designer jewellery evokes style and class, rising above the seasonal trends.
‘My customers tend to come from a select group of successful women who although fashion forward do not slavishly follow fads; but who have established their very own sense of style and therefore appreciate the uniqueness and individuality of my handcrafted jewellery.’
Having studied fashion and textile design at Belgrade University Djurdja relocated to London in the late 80’s where she found her calling at the prestigious couture jewellers Erickson Beamon designing for Christian Dior, Dries Van Noten, Emanuel Ungaro, Ana Molinari, Blumarine... before starting her own label in 2002.
In the years to follow her collections were exhibited at London and Paris Fashion Weeks. In the UK she collaborated with various fashion designers and artists including Markus Lupfer, Michiko Koshino, Alexander Nikolich, Duro Olowu, Charoline Charles, Yes Master, IssaChamoun, Marko Mitanovski...
